Day 1
— Bangalore to Ooty via Bandipur & Mudumalai – Arrival & Relaxation
On the first day, begin your journey early from Bangalore, driving through the scenic Bandipur National Park and Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary. The drive offers opportunities to spot wildlife and enjoy the lush greenery of the region. Arrive in Ooty by afternoon and check in to your hotel. After settling in, you can either relax at the hotel or take a leisurely stroll around Ooty Lake or visit the Botanical Gardens. The evening is free to unwind and enjoy the cool climate of the hill station.
Day 2
— Ooty & Coonoor Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Doddabetta Peak to enjoy panoramic views of the Nilgiri Hills. Later, head to the Botanical Garden and admire the wide variety of plants and flowers. A peaceful walk through the colorful Rose Garden is also recommended. In the afternoon, make your way to Coonoor (about 20 km away). Visit Sim’s Park, Lamb’s Rock, and Dolphin’s Nose for breathtaking views. If time permits, explore one of the tea plantations in Coonoor and enjoy a fresh cup of local tea. Return to Ooty in the evening.
Day 3
— Ooty to Pykara – Scenic Day Trip
Post breakfast, set out for a scenic excursion to Pykara. Start with boating at Pykara Lake and soak in the tranquility of the surroundings. Then visit the picturesque Pykara Waterfalls, offering a refreshing escape with its cascading waters surrounded by greenery. Also explore Shooting Point, known for its panoramic views of hills and valleys. Return to Ooty by evening and relax.
Day 4
— Ooty to Bangalore – Departure
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your drive back to Bangalore. You may stop for quick sightseeing or shopping at local markets for souvenirs like Ooty tea, handmade chocolates, and handicrafts. Arrive in Bangalore by evening, marking the end of your memorable hill station journey.
