About Shimla

Shimla is also known as Simla, is the capital and the largest city of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Shimla is also a district which is bounded by the state of Uttarakhand in the south-east, districts of Mandi and Kullu in the north, Kinnaur in the east, Sirmaur in the south and Solan in the west. In 1864, Shimla was declared as the summer capital of British India, succeeding Murree, northeast of Rawalpindi. After independence, the city became the capital of Punjab and was later named the capital of Himachal Pradesh. It is the principal commercial, cultural and educational centre of the state.

About Kufri

Kufri is a small hill station in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh state in India. It is located 20 km from the state capital Shimla on the National Highway No.22.

The name Kufri is derived from the word kufr meaning "lake" in the local language.

The highest point in the surrounding region,[1] Kufri has a Himalayan wildlife zoo which hosts rare antelopes, felines and birds including the Himalayan monal, the state bird of Himachal Pradesh until 2007. During winter a meandering path through the potato plantations turns into a popular ski track.

Day 1 Delhi to Shimla

On arrival at Delhi or Chandigarh Railway Station you will be met, assisted and drive to Shimla. Shimla was the former summer capital of British India, set amidst the snow capped Shivalik Mountains. which offers some of the most stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. On arrival at Shimla ,check-in to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Shimla.

Day 2 Shimla

The British Empire may have ceased to exit, but its echo lingers on in Shimla (2205m). As the Summer Capital of the British in India, Shimla was the country's focus for the better part of every year and now, is the state capital of Himachal Pradesh. Today, it has well developed facilities, easy accessibility and numerous attractions making it one of India's most popular hill destinations. Situated in the lower ranges of the Himalayan Mountains, it is surrounded by pine deodar, oak and rhododendron forests. Towards the north lie the snow-covered high-ranges, while the valleys breathe whispering streams and swaying fields. Within the town are host of splendid colonial edifices, quaint cottages and charming walks. Shimla offers a variety of shopping, sport and entertainment activities. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 3 Shimla- Kufri -Shimla

Full day excursion visiting to  “KUFRI”  India’s one of the best holiday paradise Kufri in Shimla is beautifully tucked on an altitude of 2,622 meter, .“JAKHOO TEMPLE” At 2455m, this is the town’s highest peak and a famous point for Shimla’s famous views. The summit is crowned with a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman.”  Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town – “The Mall & THE RIDGE” This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Shimla’s landmarks – the neo- gothic structure of Christ Church and the neo – Tudor library building – are worth seeing. Overnight  stay at hotel

Day 4 Shimla to Delhi

After breakfast  check out from hotel and drive towards your destination.Tour ends with beautiful & sweet memories.
