Package Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival in Leh
Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh (3,500 meters / 11,500 ft).
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in and complete rest to acclimatize to the high altitude.
In the evening, if you're feeling well, take a light walk to explore the Leh Market.
Visit the Shanti Stupa for panoramic sunset views.
Optionally, stop by Leh Palace to catch a glimpse of Ladakh's royal history.
Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2 — Leh Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, head out for a full day of sightseeing.
Start with Shey Palace and Monastery, the former summer retreat of the Ladakhi kings.
Then visit Thiksey Monastery, a stunning hilltop structure resembling the Potala Palace in Lhasa.
Proceed to Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh.
On your return, stop at Stok Palace, the current residence of the royal family.
Wind down at Sindhu Ghat by the Indus River.
Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3 — Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
Start early for Nubra Valley, driving across the iconic Khardung La Pass (17,582 ft), one of the highest motorable passes in the world.
Descend into the beautiful Nubra Valley, where the landscape changes dramatically into a cold desert.
Visit the famous Diskit Monastery, known for its massive Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley.
Later, head to Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy a ride on the rare double-humped Bactrian camels.
Overnight stay in Nubra (Hunder or Diskit).
Day 4 — Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok
Depart from Nubra in the morning via the scenic and adventurous Shyok route.
This drive offers breathtaking views of mountains, valleys, and rivers.
Arrive at Pangong Lake, located at 14,270 ft.
The lake stretches from India to China and is known for its vivid blue color that changes shades throughout the day.
Spend the evening soaking in the surreal beauty of this high-altitude lake.
Overnight stay in a camp near Pangong Lake.
Day 5 — Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La
Witness the sunrise at Pangong Lake.
Begin your return journey to Leh.
Cross the Chang La Pass (17,590 ft), the third highest motorable road in the world.
Stop briefly for tea and photos at the top.
Visit Tangtse village and Thiksey Monastery again if missed earlier.
Arrive in Leh by evening.
Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6 — Departure from Leh
After breakfast, check out from your hotel.
Proceed to Leh Airport for your onward journey.
Leave with unforgettable memories of Ladakh's monasteries, mountain passes, and pristine lakes.
