In the evening, visit the revered Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important Shakti Peethas in India, located atop the Nilachal Hills.
Spend time soaking in the spiritual atmosphere of the temple and enjoy sweeping views of the Brahmaputra River and the surrounding landscape from the hilltop.
If you wish, you can also opt for a Golden Sunset Cruise on the Brahmaputra River at your own expense, subject to operational timings and season.
Return to the hotel after sightseeing. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Visit Ward’s Lake, a popular city attraction known for its manicured gardens, walking paths, and boating area.
Explore the beautiful Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians and then head to the Don Bosco Museum, which offers fascinating insight into the culture and ethnic diversity of Northeast India.

On reaching Sohra, begin exploring some of the region’s most famous natural attractions. Visit the fascinating Arwah Caves, known for their limestone formations and fossil remains. See the dramatic Nohkalikai Falls, one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India.
Explore the famous Mawsmai Caves, a limestone cave system with narrow passages and naturally formed chambers.
Continue to Thangkharang Park, Seven Sisters Falls, Dainthlen Falls, and Wei Sawdong Falls, each offering a different perspective of Meghalaya’s dramatic terrain.

Continue onwards to Jowai, the administrative headquarters of the Jaintia Hills and an important cultural centre of the region.
Visit the historic Nartiang Monoliths, home to one of the largest collections of megalithic stones in a single area. Also stop at the Durga Temple at Nartiang, which adds a spiritual and historical layer to the day’s sightseeing.
Continue to Phe Phe Falls, a hidden gem known for its scenic beauty and peaceful surroundings.
Visit the striking Krang Suri Falls, famous for its shimmering blue waters and lush green backdrop, making it one of the prettiest waterfalls in Meghalaya.
